Aim to root out TB disease from state started

Faridabad/ Alive News: Under the formulated TB control programme (RNTCP) to root out TB from the state has speed up. The government and WHO have set a target to uproot TB by 2025 and are fast working on the project. First of all, data of every TB patient would be prepared. Every patient’s case history would be uploaded online.  For this, the WHO representatives are training to the officer and supervisor at the district level. It has been seen, 4 percent TB patient drop his medication in the middle and illness increases

Due to negligence, it is tough task for the state health department to provide aid to these patients. The central government and the WHO are online updating patients’ data, aiming that doctor can check his case history whether the patients get his treatment done in state or out of state.

The state in charge of WHO, Dr Sandeep Rathaur told that Asha Workers are also being joined in TB control programme. He said TB control programme will get power if the patients’ data will be online under the formulated TB control programme. Online data of patients are very important to make the state free from TB, he added.
