Anti larva campaign driven in Rahul Colony

Faridabad/Alive News: Keeping in view of the following rainy season, now district malaria department has active, its result was witnessed here on Thursday, when malaria team dividing into three zones driven anti-larva activity across the city. During this the team driven anti-larva campaign approximately one thousand houses in several colonies as Rahul Colony including Bhud Colony and Nahar Singh Colony. During this, coolers, sewers and drains etc. were examined while mosquito drug also sprayed. Similarly, a provision to spread medicine on dumped garbage is being done.  The department has asked to all Panchayats of villages of district to make ponds, drains and Johads cleaned.

WhatsApp number issued

In an age of technology, the department is also going to adopt a popular social site ‘whatsApp’ to make people aware about identification of larva, how to destroy them and precaution to be taken after fever, these messages will be shared on whatsApp.

‘Responsibility of fogging in city has given to the municipal corporation. The health department would help to the municipal corporation and staffs of Municipal Corporation have been already trained to operate the fogging machine.’
