BABY’S DAY OUT at D.C.MODEL SR. SEC. SCHOOL, FARIDABAD

Faridabad/ Alive News: In its regular activities, D.C Model Sr. School, Faridabad added one more feather in its cap by organizing ‘Baby’s Day Out’, a fun-filled and extravagant bonanza on Saturday, 2nd October here at the school courtyard.  The event started with the ceremonial lamp lightening followed by heart-felt salutation at the feet of Goddess of learning by our worthy chief guest, the judges, the guests of honour and the Principals of various schools which was followed by a scintillating dance performance by the tiny toddlers on a parody composed on Bam Bam Bole and Go, Go, Go Govinda.  The programme moved on to the next destination i.e. unique fancy dress competition by the tiny tots between the age groups of 2 years to 5 years; dressed up as angels, mesmerized the audience.  They also had a drawing competition for the tiny tots in which the budding artists tried their hands on the canvas. The show included some surprise questionnaire and activities for the entertainment of parents, in which everyone participated enthusiastically.

The programme concluded with the result declaration and the musical chair for the parents.  Although, every child who performs and breaks the barrier of hesitation is named to be a winner but there is always a scope for improvement so Kavey Baweja, Rabhvi Pathak and Lokik Arya were adjudged the position holders in the fancy dress competition.  Suryansh Gupta of Lord Shiva Primary school was adjudged as the most active boy in all the activities, he participated in  Mohit of Kids nest, Dhruv Pathak of Bal Basera and Divya of Lord Shiva play school were the best the junior group drawing competition, whereas Harshit and Hammad of Kids Nest were the winners in the senior group drawing competition.  Chirag Sangwan of Nanhi Duniya, Dhruv Pathak of Bal Basera, Hitanshi of Smart kids, Parneet Singh of Anand Kids and Ishita Pandey of Vidyodya school were the recipients of early 5 award, whereas Bhavesh Kapoor of Alfred Nobel play school and Chitra of Kids nest won the lucky draw. The show was an excellent experience for both the organizers and participants.

Parents and audience had appreciated the function through their valuable remarks verbally as well as writing and anticipated such events in future also for holistic exposure of little kids.
