Mothers have always played a special role in each of our lives. Their unconditional love, support and the feeling of a security blanket around us is unmatched.
Faridabad/Alive News: Keeping this in mind, DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL NH-3 organised the special event for Parents. This year the school has invited not only mothers but fathers also to make them feel special. The celebration started with the enlightening of holy lamp by the principal & some fathers. Sonal of class II-B delivered the thoughtful speech on the importance of PARENTS in child’s life. Tiny tots of class I & II came up with a dazzling dance performance to convey gratitude to their parents for their unconditional love.
A special set up was also there for fathers.They enthusiastically took part in many games like saree folding, buttoning , cutting passing the parcel , questionnaire round etc. Fathers, while expressing their feelings on the occasion, appreciated the efforts of school authorities for this unique idea of involving the Fathers in such celebrations. They said such type of events help them to know their children better and also help them to nurture their relationship with the children.
Jyoti Dahiya, Principal of the School expressed her joy and happiness, While speaking on the occasion, She quoted ”A dad is someone who wants to catch you before you fall but instead picks you up, brushes you off, and let you try again. In the end she thanked all the parents & gave them a potted plant as a token of gratitude & love. She also appreciated the efforts of students and teachers who all made this day a memorable day for the dads.
