Faridabad/ Alive News: DAV Public School, NH-3, Faridabad generally organizes various awareness programmes to rejuvenate and enhance knowledge of its academic scholars. The same trend was followed on November 29, 2016 when the school whole heartedly welcomed the members of National Sample Survey Office i.e. NSSO. The organization is under the Ministry of Statistics of the Government of India. The team of fifteen members was in the school to enlighten the future generation about their future planning.
The team members included Mr. N.K. Aggarwal (Asst. Director), Mr. Rajesh Kumar Dahiya (Superintending Officer), Mr. Azad Singh, Mr. Sajag Jain and many other .In the beginning, the team showed a documentary to give a glimpse of their working, strategy and further schemes. After that, they conducted a quiz, based on the facts and data showed in documentary. The intelligent Davians spellbound them by their quick answers.
At the end of quiz session, they awarded all the students whose answers were up to the mark. The principal of the school, Ms. Jyoti Dahiya, appreciated the efforts of NSSO team and expressed her heartiest gratitude for such informative programme. The team members honoured the principal by presenting her a memento. The students were grateful for such a knowledgeable day.
