Divine Academy celebrates Independence Day with great pomp


Faridabad/ Alive News: Every citizen of India is well aware that 15th August is the day when India got its independence from British rule to become a free country. The day is celebrated all over in unity with great patriotism. Divine Academy, Navada Tigaon celebrated India’s 71st Independence Day at the school ground.

The programme began with the chanting of the national anthem. The students briefed on the importance of Independence Day. Dance performances whether solo or group mesmerized everyone. Manya’s poem and the performance by the Kindergarten students (Classes I & II) charged up the atmosphere with patriotic spirit. The little tiny tots delivered thoughtful speeches on Independence Day & showed their creativity by making tricolored kites & masks.

The Directors of the school, Rakesh Bansal and Ankit Aggarwal jointly stated in their address that it was not so easy for the Indians to get freedom from the Britishers however, various great people and freedom fighters of India made it a truth. They had sacrificed their lives in attaining the freedom for their future generations. We should respect one another, be disciplined, be selfless in our services and attribution to the progress of the nation. At the end they said it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.
