Faridabad: Dussehra Festival will be celebrated with great fanfare in NIT’s Dussehra ground by Faridabad social and religious organization on October 22. This information was shared to the media by the chairperson of the organization, Radha Narula.
She addressing to the media persons said confusion is being dispersed by some anti-social elements that Dussehra would not be celebrated in the Dussehra ground this year, but nothing is like this. Dussehra will be celebrated with great pomp by the organization in the ground like the previous year.
The effigies preparations are in full swing. 75 feet high and spacious the Ravana’s effigy, while effigy of Kumbhkaran and Meghnath will be of 65-65 feet each are being built in the Dussehra ground of NIT….that would be attractive point this year. The artisans have been invited to Mumbai. The golden Lanka is also being built on the Dussehra occasion.
We have invited on behalf of the institution to M.P and Minister of state Mr. Krishna Pal Gurjar as a chief guest, while Badkhal constituency’s MLA Seema Trikha will be special guest in this function, she said.

We have completed all administrative formalities and proposed fee has been submitted by taking MCF permission. NOCs have been taken from SDM and Fire department and police administration has also given permission, she said.
