Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi celebrates with great zeal in Rajiv Nagar

Faridabad/ Alive News: Muslim community people brought out a procession in remembrance of their Prophet Muhammad on the eve of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi in Rajiv Nagar DLF area, Faridabad on December 12,2016 here today. Interestingly, the community considering all measures brought out the procession decently. During this, national flag, moving in a sequence on the roads and brotherhood with other people was witnessed in the procession.

Meanwhile, talking to media Hafiz Jamshed including the community people told that Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi is a day of both celebration and mourning. On this day, both birth and death anniversaries of Prophet Muhammad are observed.
However, Eid-e-Milad should not be confused with the other two Eids- Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha, Muslims celebrate.
The day of Eid-e-Milad is a day dedicated to the teachings of the last Prophet of Islam. The Milad is celebrated in Rabi-al-Awwal, the third month of the Islamic calendar. According to Islamic belief, the Prophet was born on the 12 day of Rabi-al-Awwal in 570 AD in the city of Mecca. Different sects of Islam observe or celebrate the Prophet’s birth on different dates of the month. Also, there are some differences with in Islamic sects as to whether the Eid-E-Milad should be observed or not. The Muslims also recite Naat-Shareef (Exalted Poetry) and sing hymns in praise of the Prophet Muhammad.
During this, Afjal Khan, Salman, Sultan, Rajesh, Ranjit, Kasim, Hasim, Aftab, Samsad, Mustakim, Harun, Jamsed, Mahadev, Sarun, Suhel Khan, Liyakqat and several other were present on this occasion.
