Faridabad Model School celebrated Sports and Appreciation Day

Faridabad/Alive News : Faridabad Model School, Sector 31, celebrated SPORTS & APPRECIATION DAY on 10 February, 2024 with great zeal and enthusiasm. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Brig. Devinder Yadav , Indian Army and his better half Manju Yadav. The distinguished guests included AK Malik- Managing Director, FMS Managing Committee, former Advisor to the President of Zambia, and former Commissioner, Cabinet Secretariat, Govt. of India, JP Malhotra- President of DLF Industries Association, Rtn. H. S. Malik- Former Chairman CWC, Govt. of Haryana, Dhruv Malik- Entrepreneur, Chairman Venus Foods Pvt. Ltd., SR Tewatia, Ramesh Chaudhary, Raj Malik- Educational Counsellor and Founder Principal, FMS Sec-48, Shreya Malik- Asst. Vice President, Projects, IIT Kanpur, Academic Director Shashi Bala and Director Principal Umang Malik

The celebration started with lamp lighting ceremony. Brig. Devinder Yadav, chief guest for the occasion unfurled the school flag The students showcased their skills through various dance exercises where the FMSians showed discipline, coordination and physical strength. The FMS Founder Scholarship Award winners for the session (2023-24) along with other outstanding FMSians who have won at the district, state and national levels were honored at a glittering prize distribution ceremony.

Devinder Yadav congratulated the award winners and their parents and highlighted the importance of sports and extra-curricular activities for the overall development of the students. He congratulated the award winners and participants for their excellent performance and inspired them to become inspiring leaders in their respective fields. FMS Chairman RTN. HS Malik appreciated the excellent performance, blessed the award winners and directed them to become pioneers in nation building.

He congratulated the FMS team for organizing such a wonderful event and thanked the FMS parents for their continued support and association with the school. The program ended with the national anthem.
