FIR lodged against Fortis Hospital in Sushant Lok Police Station

Gurugram/ Alive News: An FIR against Fortis Hospital was lodged under Section 304 (II) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), at Sushant Lok Police Station Gurugram, this information, the health minister Anil Vij shared through his tweet today. The hospital’s blood bank licence has already canceled. The Haryana government taking stringent action against the hospital had sent a letter to the health minister to cancel its licence on Saturday.
Significantly, a seven year-old girl, Adya Singh resident Dwarka, Delhi had been admitted for dengue treatment in Rockland hospital, but later she was admitted in Fortis hospital, where the Fortis hospital charged Rs 16 lakh for her treatment from her parents, but still she could no survived.
A team constituted under aegis of Additional General Director of Haryana Health Department, Dr Rajeev Vadhera investigated into the matter and further action was taken on behalf of his report.
