Health dept caught doctors indulged in abortion case

Faridabad/ Alive News: The district health department raided in a hospital and found two doctors as well as two its employees were indulged in abortion case. On the complained of the health department the police registered an FIR against them. The incident came to light in a private hospital situated at Kheripul. The hospital is not registered for Medical Termination of Pregnancy (MTP) from the civil hospital. The health department was getting complained against the hospital and then the department raided in the hospital. The raid was done in the presence of Duty Magistrate Jaswant Singh, Senior health officer Harjinder Singh, Dr Hema and Drug controller officer Rakesh Chhokar.

Dr Harjinder Singh told that a pregnant lady was sent in the hospital from the health department. The pregnant lady talked to the doctor for abortion and then he told her Rs 5000 fee for abortion. Dr Harjinder Singh told that the lady was sent to Old Faridabad for ultra sound and later Rs 5000 was asked from the lady for MTP. During this, the health department raided in the hospital and recovered the given money by the lady, apart from this the team has also been recovered abortion drugs from the hospital. Dr Singh told that apart from Dr Neelam Sharma and Dr Jagdish Prasad the case has also been filed against two employees. He further said the accused ladies doctor is a dental surgeon, where the abortion was being done.
