Rangoli Making & Diya Decoration Competition conducts at DAV, NH3

Faridabad/ Alive News: Students of DAV, NH3, FBD celebrated the festival of Diwali by organizing Inter House Rangoli Making Competition and Diya Decoration Competition. Bright sparkling colours, beads, shells, mirrors etc. caught everybody’s attention.

Other hand, the Kindergarten wing of the school taken out a rally appealing neighborhood and community to celebrate Eco-Friendly Diwali and to spread awareness on harmful effects of bursting crackers. The rally was flagged off from the school covering the school campus and the DAV Centenary College Campus where the Management and the Principal, Sh. Satish Ahuja welcomed theme.

Meanwhile, the tiny tots participated enthusiastically holding the banners, placards. They appealed the general masses to celebrate pollution free Diwali through their slogans. This initiative was appreciated by the Principal, Management and all others. Mr. Tarun Sharma, the Founder President and Mr. Abhijay Singh, General Secretary of “THE RISING” an NGO working for the underprivileged children were the guests of the day .The cultural programme began with the Lamp Lighting ceremony which was followed by Ganesh Vandana.

The poems, speech telling the importance of the festival were a part of the event. The songs were the treat for the ears while the dance performances were a source of attraction for everyone. The Dance Drama presented by the Kindergarten wing, depicting a jungle scene, was appreciated by all.

Diwali is the most favorite festival for all as it brings a lot of blessings and happiness. It indicates the victory of Good over the evil power as well as start of new season. Because of many reasons people celebrate it heartily with lots of preparation. Diwali is the one festival in India which is celebrated by all irrespective of caste, creed and religion .It is celebrated to acknowledge the victory of Krishna over Narakasura.

At the end, the Principal Mrs. Jyoti Dahiya motivated all to celebrate safe and pollution free Diwali .She conveyed her wishes to all. She wished, “May this festival brightens up the lives of all and leads all together o the path of peace and social harmony.”
