Rhythm Sangeet Mahavidyalaya holds Annual Day celebration in M.C.F courtyard

Students of RSM reach to great high’s one day: MLA Vipul Goyal

Alive News/Faridabad: Pratibha Education Trust, along with Rhythm Sangeet Mahavidyalaya held its Annual Day celebration in M.C.F auditorium Faridabad here today. Children who were undergoing training in Music, Dance and Art have performed at the Annual day. The show began with the lighting of the lamp by Mr. Brijesh Sharma, Director of the institute, Vandana Sharma, Sumit Sreevastav amidst a large gathering. Performance started with a Veena recital by Ms. Uma Balasubramanyam.

The stunning performance of the students mesmerised the audience. At many occasions they were for big surprises. Children belonging to different age groups were in the show. All of them performed to great perfection and made loud statements of their talent and training. A total of 140 children of the institute performed. The institute is unique in giving training to talent children from economically weaker sections of the society hand in hand with Pratibha Education Trust.

The trust works to spread education and give care to the weaker sections of the society and bring their children for ward. Shri. Jitender Bhadana, an ardent supporter of the weaker sections of the society, visited and praised the performance of the students.

Performances of Kathak dance in its various styles, Classical and light music, Instrumental music of keyboard and guitar, different western style dances were performed.

Faculty members like Pramod(Kathak) Armoy Panda (Keyboard,table,guitar), Saurav (Vocal, light music), Rahul (Western Dance) led the students in their performance. There was an art exhibition of works done by the students of Rhythm. There were a number of good paintings in the exhibition, which was curetted by Vipulab, the artist. The teachers were honoured with trophies. Among all the performances, Kathak performance by Riya Sharma, was heart throbbing and she was declared as the best performer and Faridabad Pratibha.

Eminent public personalities like Shri.Vipul Goyal MLA, Faridabad, Shri. Rajesh Nagar, Shri. Rahul were distinguished guests to the show and praised the works of Pratibha Education Trust among the poor. “Students of Rhythm Sangeet Mahavidyalaya will reach to great high’s one day and will uphold the name of Faridabad high in the field of music and art, said Mr. Vipul Goyal. He was all in praise for the students and teachers who trained them for the show. They were Felicitated and honoured during the show.

Adding to an end, chairman of the institution addressing to the gathering said music is pleasant to everyone. It gives us happiness, peace of mind and even heals. Music, dance and art influence us and can even change our personality. Music in our Indian tradition is spiritual and being a student of music, dance and art makes us spiritual and better human being. Learning music plays an important role in developing our personality and performing on stage perfects it. Students of Rhythm Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Faridabad had this achieved.

Prices and medals were awarded to the participants. The audience left the auditorium with relishing memories of the various performances.
