Faridabad/ Alive News: Ryan Institution group of institutions have been the pioneers in organizing these Minithons on continuous basis. Since its establishment in 1998 the club has 141 races to its credit. In this series 20th Ryan Minithon is being organised by Ryan group in Sports Complex at sector 12 on 3rd December 2016.
While sharing this information in a press conference, Ms Anju Uppal, principal of the school said the vision of Dr. A. F. Pinto chairman of the Ryan group of Institution will be realised by preparing sports stars of tomorrow. The Managing Director, Madam Grace Pinto believes that sports activities foster the spirit of sportsmanship leading to tolerance, patience and endurance. Ms Uppal said this Minithon will spread the message of peace as the motto is ‘Let’s run as a team as peace is our dream’. The entire team of dedicated workers and students are busy to make this event a great success.
She further said the Ryan Minithon organised for all schools will have competition in all age categories of under 18, 16, 14 and 12 year for boys and girls from 100 schools all over NCR. The wining distance will be 4km, 3km and 2km respectively for various categories. Cash prizes of Rs. 30,000 will be awarded to the winners. Similarly, six cash prizes in each category will be awarded along with separate prizes for boys and girls. The overall points of each race will decide the Champion’s Trophy.
During this, galaxy of guests includes Mr.Yashender Singh IAS,Huda Administrator,Mr.Mahaveer Prasad ,Joint Commissioner, MCF, Ms.Varsha Tomar ( International Shooter) Mr. Virender Yadav (Medical officer), Mr. Ashok Saini (District sports and youth Affairs officer), Ms. Mary (District Sports officer) and Ms. Seema Trikha (Chief Parliamentary Secretary) .Mr. Manoj Verma ( Additional Commandant CRPF) will also grace the occasion as the chief guest for the day.
