Faridabad/ Alive News: Dengue, malaria including chikungnya and viral fever are on their peak in the season. The numbers of patients suffering from these diseases are increasing swiftly in the district. The district health department has identified three each fresh dengue and chikungunya patients on Wednesday. By which, now a total patients of dengue has risen 14 and chikungunya patients 8, apart from this 75 malaria patients has been identified so far. But considering increasingly the cases the health department has started fogging in the affected area.
The health dept. wrote to the municipal corporation after which, the corporation has formed zone wise teams. The teams have been given responsibility to make fogging done in their respective areas. The corporation has issued number of the team in charge in this regard.
Zone wise team for fogging
The Municipal Corporation Faridabad has issued numbers after appointing SI in the three zones. People may contact to the SI if they need to fog their areas. The Municipal Corporation has 9 fogging machines this time and it has given one big and two small machines for the three zones.
According to Deputy Civil Surgeon, Dr. Rambhagat fogging has been done nearby houses of the three each confirmed patients dengue and chikungunya. People should be aware. They should protect themselves from mosquitoes, prevent to store water or mess their surroundings.
