Vrinda International School Celebrated Haryana Day


Faridabad/Alive News: Haryana is a North Indian state with a rich history and culture. It is the region where Vedic Civilization originated. It was here that the Vedas were written and Lord Krishna preached Bhagavad – Gita. Haryana is the 20th state of India that came into existence in 1966 on 1st of November when it parted from the state of Punjab.

To inculcate the Cultural Values a special Assembly was conducted with traditional fervour at Vrinda International School SGM Nagar Sec – 48 and the theme was ‘Haryana Day’.

The event was presided over by the School Vice Principal Ms. Joba Guha, Senior Academic Coordinator Deepika Sharma and the Primary coordinator Sandeep Kaur. It commenced by invoking the blessings of Lord with a prayer by students. Dressed in their ethnic best the girls of senior wing put up an entertaining show through folk dance of Haryana.

The kids of Junior wing came in traditional Harayanvi costumes.The School director Ms. Vijayluxmi greeted the students with her ever-inspiring words. The assembly concluded with the singing of the National anthem.
