Faridabad/ Alive News: The five days as Yoga Mahotsaw (Festival) which was devoted to International Yoga Day was really a great exercise in positive way here in Faridabad, in which the city scored three world records, but somewhere fingers are also being raised against govt. as well as yoga guru baba Ramdev. Definitely, a cheer was witness amongst people over yoga, but melancholy was also observed in some cases.

Officers reached their duty late

Actually, all the govt. offices was instructed to off from 9am to 11am just for proving the day as historical day, in which duty of officers of all department was assigned in yoga ground, due to which unknown people had to wander here and there in offices in searching of officers.

MCF lost of millions of rupees

Almost all small or big leaders assembled their posters and banners by the roads side on the eve of International Yoga Day, but they didn’t pay single coins to Municipal Corporation Faridabad so far and the department didn’t take action against anyone.

People’s opinion

It is a commendable initiative. I never oppose it, but in contrast people as well as govt. has tremendous loss. Because, there was already two holidays on Saturday and Sunday, but on Monday again was announced two hours off to celebrate yoga, officers were busy into the venue, resulting people who come from far-flung with intent to resolve their problems had to wait officers for long times.

I am very happy that the old tradition is returning again. It is an attempt of Baba Ramdev that now the entire world is to know about Yoga and people are coming fore to learn it. I used to think bad habit of yoga, but gradually moved towards it, and now I am sure that any disease could be control by yoga

Dr. Braham Dutt, RTI Activist

Yoga is a good act. Doing this not only our body remains fit while disease never wanders around the yogi person. Keeping in view of the current situation, we must do yoga every day, so that our body can remain healthy.

Ratanpal Chauhan, Outgoing Councillor candidate

Absolutely, our city had completely drowned in Yogamai colour just five days earlier resulting, it made three world records on the eve of International Yoga Day. For this all statewide are mark to congratulation who spent their valuable time to make the function success, not only this, our yoga guru Baba Ramdev including our honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narendera Modi left no stone unturned to give it world class identity.

Meharchand Harsana, Outgoing Councillor candidate

See, there is no need to explain about yoga, do it first and an experience would get yourselves. Let me tell you, yoga should not be compared to another exercises, because it belongs to our culture. In ancient time many hermit, Sage and monk did it and they kept fit themselves for hundreds of years. We would have to do the same if we want to keep healthy.

Kuldeep Tewatia, Outgoing Councillor candidate

See, yoga must be always seen for health purpose rather than political point of view, because it is a matter of our health and could not be ignored owing to any party or special. It is good thing that our culture is coming back. We all should adopt in our daily life.
